Whetu Fun Day

 


Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.


My favourite part of the Amazing Race was running around Ngatea and finding the easter egg with the code on them.


The rotation I enjoyed the most was doing the easter bunny because I loved blending the colours to blend.


During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick in a piece of wood at the playground. I had a pink ice block it was yummy and delicious and I had a



blue easter egg.

I liked working with Bella and it was funny when I was plating the string because when she was talking with Azahliah she let go and the string got tangled up.

Term 1 week 1

  During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on level glass level 1 of NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because I can learn from mistakes and What I find challenging is it gets harder at every level you do. This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. First, we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that the hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables. I think that TTRockstars will be good for me because I am not that good at my times tables.

Play make create

 for my Play make create I made a campsite and I, worked with Olivia and we made a flying fox. The story that we bast it on was be you and it was about doing what you love doing and it was challenging, when we did the hot glue gun because I could have got, burnt and we did 2 mountain and I made the flying fox and I had fun making sit with Olivia and us. made a tent each.
